Stay IC.

Please be sure to stay IC as much as possible. In addition to this, obviously we allow for some measure of growth and adaptation but you must still try to remain within the scope of the character even with such developments. This goes for a character's orientation as well. HMDs are not compulsory but we still expect everyone to adhere to this rule.

Be nice.

This should not even have to be a rule. Three strikes and you're out. If you have a problem with someone being unkind or harassing you, come to the mods here (all comments screened) or email here.

No metagaming/infomodding/godmodding.

Nothing should be done with another's character without their expressed written permission. No exceptions.

Do not use playercesting to get around infomodding either.

Limited playercesting.

While the point of roleplay is to interact with other people, a limited amount of playercesting is allowed. If you are unsure if it will be allowed, confer with the mods here (all comments screened) or email here.

For example:

● Character A and Character B from Series C are brother and sister - the same player will not be able to play both.

● Character D and Character E (same player) are both friends with Character F (different player) - a small amount of interaction regarding Character F will be allowed up to and including smut logs.

Activity Checks

● 2 posts total (in any amount in either of the network or logs comms)
OR
● 1 post + 15 comments in another post
OR
● 30 comments total

"Icon spam" will only count as one comment for AC purposes.

Hiatuses and Activity Checks

A hiatus will only count if you comment to the official hiatus listing, not in the OOC comm. If you wish to place a hiatus notice in the OOC comm, you may but it is not required and we would prefer you to simply use the official page instead as it helps prevent clutter.

If your hiatus is fifteen days or more, it will count for passing AC completely. If your hiatus is fourteen days or less, we will require one instance of activity to pass - either one post in either of the logs or network comms or fifteen tags from your character in total.

Hiatusing two months in a row will not waive AC. The mods will discuss this with you on a case-by-case analysis. Indefinite hiatuses are not allowed.

Dropping

A character can be dropped at any time from the game at the player's discretion. All we ask is that you leave a comment here to notify us.

Drops are final and if you drop but change your mind, a re-application must be made. After dropping a character you must wait at least two weeks before you will be allowed to reapply for the same character. If a character has been dropped by the same player three times, they will no longer be able to apply for that character to the game. Failing AC for a character counts as one of your allotted drops for that character.

Duplicates

These will be decided on a case-by-case analysis. If the characters are deemed too similar, they may be denied. Cases such as Cloud Strife from the Final Fantasy VII Compilation and Cloud Strife from the Kingdom Hearts Series would be permitted in-game together. However, Cloud Strife from Before Crisis and Cloud Strife from Advent Children would not.
