travel.
As you can see from the world map, there are some locations your character might want to visit that are several day's hike from the home.
There are currently a few (but as the game continues more can be added) methods of travel available to the character:
● Walking. Good old one foot in front of the other. This takes the longest and you are much more likely to encounter less than friendly denizens of the world.
● Rickshaw. Speedier and less dangerous than walking but they rarely travel far from the point of origin. Each journey is one credit (one-way cost).
● Hovertrain. Trains that run entirely on magic and float a little above the ground, they are fast and reliable and will easily keep beasts from you on your journey. Each journey is three credits, round trip.
● Teleport Pad. In every Nexian settlement, in the very centre of each hamlet, village or town, there is a large pad inscribed with many different arcane symbols. Simply stepping on one of these and paying five credits will take you instantly to the corresponding pad where you wish to go (round-trip cost). If you build or request a home in the wilderness, you will get a private pad but it will still cost to use.
Of course, you might have a character that has canon powers of movement. These will be limited until you get to higher levels (exactly what will be added at a later date) so the methods outlined above will be both safer and more reliable.
